VIDEO PRODUCTION

VIDEO PRODUCTION TO FIT ANY BUDGET

If you were telling someone you just met about your business, what would you say?

Think of our videos as a conversation between you and a potential customer. We help you to tell them about your organization, but more importantly, we help you get them to care!

We know you are passionate about your work, and we love that. Now let's work together to share your story and inspire that same passion in others.

We use innovative techniques gathered from our experiences in guerrilla filmmaking and professional video production to create a quality, high-definition product specifically tailored to your needs--and your price range.

In all of our videos, we give special care to picture quality, cinematography, and sound quality. These factors are important to us as professionals, and help us to give you the best value for your budget.

Preproduction: Designing Your Concepts

So you're a small business owner, or you work for a non-profit, and someone has told you that you really need a video to boost your marketing. Well, they are right: see these stats for some good reasons why you should consider using video to market your organization. Still, you don't have much experience in this field and you don't know where to begin. That's where we come in.

We offer a free consultation to all of our clients to help them decide what form their video should take to be most effective, what content should be included to appeal best to the intended audience, and what kinds of costs (time and money) you should expect. We can help you create a script for your video or your organization can provide one to us.

We help you crystallize your vision and help you get it ready for production.

What kind of video should I make?

Marketing videos come in many forms, and while all may be prove effective for your business in one way or another, you should pick one direction to go in for each project, rather than trying to shoehorn footage filmed for one purpose into another role.

Here are a few examples of popular business video genres:

Introduction Video

Tell the story of your organization! This type of video is our bread and butter. We sit members of your organization in front of the camera and ask you to tell us, in your own words, the answers to these questions:

Who are you?
What do you do?
Why do you do it? and
Why should we care?

People want to work with people. These points will tell your story in such a way that they'll get to know you as people doing a cool thing--and that will make them want to do business with you.

This is probably what you think of when you think about marketing videos: commercials. These pop up everywhere, on television, streaming services, YouTube, and more. We see them ALL THE TIME.

And the next one you see could be yours!

If you have an ad spot on cable or are interested in buying video advertising on another medium, there's one thing you definitely need: a video.

We can conform our videos to any technical specifications you require, and will give you the best bang for your buck when it comes to a commercial: a creative ad that looks good and attracts attention, all at a fantastic price.

Video Tutorials/"How-To"s

You are an expert in something. No need to be humble about it! Your organization has something to contribute to the knowledge pool, so let's teach the public something!

Companies, talk about your work. Non-profits, talk about your mission.

By teaching about your field, you demonstrate your expertise and encourage people to trust you in a way that advertisements don't.

Plus, the old sales adage applies: one of the best ways to sell someone something is to give them something for free. Give out free advice, and you might just find that people will start seeking it more and more.

Public Service Announcements

Do a public good! Public service announcements (PSAs) are put out by organizations as a charitable cause, meant to educate people on an important issue.

These are a public relations effort, and increase your organization's ties to, and credibility within, its community.

Doing good won't go unnoticed.

Event Videos

Show off an event! Let the people know that your organization is active and engaged with the community.

We got our start in run-and-gun event videography, and while we've never been brave enough to break into weddings (scary stuff), a nice community event or corporate teambuilding field day suits us just fine.

You can count on interesting, fun shots edited together in a way that tells the story of the day--something your organization and your fans can look back on and smile.

Long-Form Videos

Sometimes two minutes is just not enough. Sometimes even five minutes is not enough. Sometimes you need a video for a program or presentation, or an edited version of a seminar or speech.

In these cases, we put on our thinking caps to find the best way to film your thing, and then pull out all of the stops to make sure that you have a top-quality video no matter the length of the finished product.

If you find that your organization spends a lot of time presenting to groups of people and bringing the same message each time, consider packaging the message together with visuals in the form of a video to make sure that your program is consistent and engaging.

Production: Shooting the Script

Once you have a vision for your video, we can come out and film. There are a number of factors that we will need to consider:

The amount of time required to shoot
The number of crew members required
The equipment necessary
Other roles (talent, makeup, craft services)

These factors all go into the price we charge for the production. Each project is different, and some may require less time, less people and less equipment, resulting in a lower overall cost.

We work out all of these details with you so that we can all be sure that you are getting the best product possible on a budget that your organization can afford. This all goes into a production plan that will help us stay on track.

Post-Production: Putting It All Together

Production is over. Now we've got a big pile of awesome footage. How we get from that footage to the planned concept is the post-production process.

We use a suite of professional programs including Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve to piece the project together in an engaging way and give it a beautiful color grade that makes every image pop.

A huge part of our editing process is the music we use. We have a network of composers and stock music sites to draw from, and we hunt for the perfect track for the mood and pace of your video, often making cuts in time with the music to accent the scene changes.

We have the ability to add any titles or graphics necessary to make sure your message is clear.

You can count on an amazing rough draft, then it's up to you to let us know what needs to be fixed before we deliver a final version.
